Triumph Tiger description

Up for auction is my 1971 Triumph Tiger chopper its a flat black naked ratrod chopper.

 The good:

Clear Virginia Title in my name, it runs ok but could use a tune up because I haven't ridden it much, maybe new plugs and a carb cleaning, it wet sumps if it sits too long but most british bikes do! It has a boyer electronic ignition, nice 21" ribbed spool front wheel, A nice 10" over springer, custom rigid frame, and nice spiked forward controls.

The bad:

It has a shifting/trans problem that I'm tired of messing with, it feels like it only has 3 out of 4 gears. Hence, the low, low, low starting bid. It could use plugs and maybe a carb cleaning.

This is a comfortable ride for a rigid frame old Triumph, and Ive ridden many. Ask questions before you bid!!! And know what youre buying before you bid!!! I am an honest ebayer, you can check my feedback. There are no warranties implied or given and is being sold as is with no returns. I will not ship!!! You can send a truck to my house and I will help load it up, or you can come by and pick it up. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements!!

A Triumph Bonneville Unlike Any Other

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

The Bucephalus is not just another “Old Meets New” custom. It’s a completely fresh idea from Loaded Gun Customs, builders of other wild machines, combining a 1967 Triumph Bonneville twin — an iconic engine in its own right — and surrounding it with state-of-the-art performance components. Basically, if motorcycle engines ceased production in 1967, this would be a modern day racebike.

2012 Triumph Street Triple sighted

Fri, 03 Jun 2011

Whilst sauntering home from work the other evening, in a double-take I stumbled upon a 2012 Triumph Street Triple, the one with the 675 engine. Thinking that I had discovered a 'scoop' that this bike was being previewed in Islington I hastily took shots on my (un)smart phone - only to find out that the 2012 Street Triple has already been released to the streets of the UK. Peers have described the new slanty lights of the Speed/Street Triple as 'looking a bit mongoloid' but I have to disagree.

Motorcycle.com Adds a New Editor

Mon, 05 Nov 2012

While some moto publications are cutting back and constricting, Motorcycle.com is proud to announce the addition of a new editor to our masthead. MO readers, meet Jon Langston, our new Associate Editor. I knew Langston was a cool cat when I first met him at the Harley-Davidson Blackline unveiling in January 2011.
