This is a pre unit motor primary and transmission on a triumph Duplex frame. The motor turns over and has great compression. the triple trees appear to be from a Nacelle bike, the lowers are front end with extended pipes, The front wheel is an original triumph wheel. the rear wheel is a triumph hub in a harley wheel. The engine has a tach drive cover, All in all a good deal of original triumph parts or an almost completed old school Triumph Chopper. On Nov-17-16 at 03:42:57 PST, seller added the following information: this bike is being sold with a bill of sale only. can get it registered in NH for an additional $100USD this will make it easier to export or register stateside. 50th Anniversary Of The Great Escape To Be Celebrated With Electric Motorcycle
Wed, 26 Jun 2013July 4th marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic Steve McQueen film, “The Great Escape,” and to commemorate the golden anniversary of McQueen’s escape attempt from German forces during WWII, McQueen Motorcycle will unveil a special electric motorcycle, the Xscape. The Xscape is scheduled to be McQueen Motorcycle’s first production motorcycle, with cues to incorporate today’s technology and integrate “the history and design of tradition.” Details are scarce at this point, but considering McQueen rode a Triumph TR6 Trophy in the scene, it would be reasonable to expect similar styling. In fact, looking closely at the photo above will reveal wire wheels, most likely a nod to the vintage Triumph.
