Triumph Street Triple description

2015 Triumph Street Triple Rx with about 3,700 miles. Mileage will change slightly as I occasionally use it to commute but will stay under 4,000 miles.  This is an awesome bike, and it's even better than most Street Triples because it's the special edition Rx. This means that it includes the tail section from the Daytona, red wheels, and a quick shifter (clutchless upshifts) that you won't find on the standard Street Triple and Street Triple R. Also has the flyscreen and belly pan. This bike is comfortable, fast, and incredibly flickable - the handling is better than anything I've ever ridden! Aftermarket parts include Puig frame sliders, TechSpec tank grips, and a Radiant MotoGP exhaust. I also still have the stock exhaust. The bar end mirror shown in the pictures will not be included, but I do have one stock mirror.

Now for the bad: the bike has an R title. All damage was cosmetic, and mechanically the bike is 100%. Paint has been touched up in several places including the flyscreen, tank and tail section, but is barely noticeable - especially from a few feet away. It's not perfect, but it's really good and I get compliments on it wherever I go.

The blue book for this bike is around $10,500. Asking $6500 to account for the R title and small cosmetic issues. This is an opportunity to get an incredible bike way cheaper than you could find anywhere else.  Contact me with any questions.

Triumph’s Wheel Bearing Recall Spreads to US for 2011-2012 Daytona 675, Street Triple and 2012 Thunderbird and Thunderbird Storm

Thu, 07 Feb 2013

Earlier this week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for unapproved wheel bearings for the 2011-2012 Triumph Daytona 675 sportbike and its naked sibling the Street Triple. As expected, a similar recall has now been announced for the U.S., adding the Thunderbird and Thunderbird Storm cruisers to the campaign. The recall also affects the 2011-2012 Triumph Street Triple R but the Daytona 675R is not included in the recall.

Craig Vetter To Headline AMA Hall Of Fame Breakfast At Daytona, March 14

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

AMA Hall of Fame member Craig Vetter will be the featured guest at its annual AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona, on Friday, March 14, at 7:00 a.m., at the Daytona 500 Club on the infield at Daytona International Speedway.  “Craig Vetter’s impact is far-reaching, starting with the design of the iconic Windjammer fairings of the 1970s, continuing with motorcycle designs like the Triumph X-75 Hurricane and the limited-edition ‘Mystery Ship,’ and enduring more recently with a resurrected series of motorcycle fuel economy runs that push the boundaries of everyday streamlining,” said Jeff Heininger, chairman of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the Hall of Fame. “We’re proud to host motorcycling’s design professor emeritus for this year’s Breakfast at Daytona.” Taking place during 2014 Daytona Bike Week, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona fundraiser will feature a live interview with Vetter on stage, an audience Q&A period and an autograph session with Vetter and other Hall of Famers in attendance. The event is open to the public, and tickets are available now at www.motorcyclemuseum.org.
