The only difference between right now and when I rode this bike out of the dealer is that it is broken in! Gosh, those were a long 800 or so miles before I could really see what this machine is made of. All I can say is that I will miss being able to go from comfortably cruising along at a refined speed and then...whooosh hit the throttle and you're riding motoGP. This bike runs perfectly smooth, sounds thrilling, and is comfortable and refined to ride. It's been regularly maintained and serviced at the dealer only. I'v also ridden it regularly throughout its whole life (unfortunately only about an hour each week, hence the low miles), It truly great for newer riders and seasoned track enthusiasts. Why am I selling it? ...because I've decided that I must add some dirt into my life and need an adventure tourer. Includes an option of 3 seats: the custom Corbin seat pictured, stock triumph seat, triumph "high comfort" accessory seat. (Multiple seats are available for at reduced cost, arranged after purchase). Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
Jeremy Toye Wins 92nd Running Of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Mon, 30 Jun 2014On his first attempt at the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, road racer Jeremy Toye set a record in the premiere Open Class to win the category aboard a 2015 Kawasaki ZX-10R, celebrating the 30th year of the legendary Ninja brand. Prior to setting foot on the hill, Toye was confident he could get among the class leaders, aiming to beat the outright Pikes Peak motorcycle record, which was set by Carlin Dunne in 2012 with a time of 9:52.819. While that record remains intact, Toye was able to set a time of 9:58.687 to win the Open Class, finishing 6sec ahead of his closest rival, Fabrice Lambert aboard a Ducati.
Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.
