New Triumph Touring Cruisers Captured in Spy Photos

Britain’s MCN has published spy photos of two new Triumph touring motorcycles. Both models are prototypes still undergoing testing and one is even disguised to look like its eventual rival, the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. Both models are, in fact, slated to go up against Harley-Davidson models.

WE SPOTTED this one earlier on French website Motorevue: a Swede, Sivert Raask, has concocted a this motorcycle from Triumph's 1600cc Thunderbird cruiser, with the use of a handmade seat, a Ducati tank and a bit of cunning.Quite tasty for a home-brewed effort, don't you think? British motorcycle design studio Xenophya Design and product designer Ellis Pitt have teamed up to produce a new company, Mac Motorcycles. Based out of Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire, England, Mac Motorcycles will produce a line of bikes powered by Buell’s air-cooled single cylinder 492cc engines used in the Blast, with a tubular backbone frame. On the company’s website, Pitt describes its bikes as being simple to maintain, include references and details from choppers and bobbers and feature “Harley posture, flat-track manners, Ducati handling”.
