A global hit since its introduction in 2007, the Street Triple fuses the style and attitude of the iconic Speed Triple with the performance and agility of the class leading Daytona 675 supersports machine. The result is a truly impressive middleweight streetfighter that has attained critical success around the world. At the heart of the Street Triple is a retuned version of Triumph’s unique 675 cubic-centimeter triple, delivering 107 boiler-horsepower and 51 foot-pounds of torque. It’s so good you’ll have trouble believing its only 675 cubic-centimeters. The torque and sound of the liquid-cooled, twelve-valve triple, combined with a close ratio six-speed gearbox produce an exciting, exhilarating ride that has made the Street Triple our best selling model since its launch. The look is pure factory streetfighter and pure Triumph. Triumph Unveils 2014 Modern Classics for North America
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Triumph is introducing updating its line of Modern Classics, which in 2014 includes not only the Bonneville, T100, Thruxton and Scrambler, but a new blacked-out T100 and a Bonneville Special Edition. The freshened bikes feature new color schemes, machined cooling fins and new mufflers. Bonneville - With a 17” cast front wheel, the 2014 Triumph Bonneville sports a rider-friendly seat height of just over 29 inches.
Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

Last year I was riding Kawasaki’s ZX-6R and the constant gear changing, braking and acceleration was taking its toll. After 5000 miles the Kwak was feeling loose, rough and generally hard to ride smoothly.
