Triumph Speed Twin description

1957 Triumph Speed Twin pre unit motorcycle. 500cc motor with new bore and NOS 4 over British pistons (not installed). Cast iron head has had some welding on exhaust spigot. All motor parts included, but not assembled, new top end gasket set, distributor type electrics. Will ship with 650 cylinder on bike, the other parts and honed cylinder will be in a separate box. 2 extra carbs for parts, Ceriani fork on bike was rebuilt with new seals, including pre unit forks w/ no tubes and raked triple trees for a unit axle. Bates headlight, metal flake seat, z bars. Has matching front fender that fits, but isn't Triumph or Wassell. Paint is OK, flaking on oil tank. Overall the bike needs a complete go over and motor/tranny rebuild, paint is fair, chrome has peeled spots on rims, other places are good to fair. There is a hole in the primary cover where on of the top screws is supposed to go. frame 79815 (1956?) engine 5T05083. Titled in my name as a 1957 using the motor number (this is how it was previously titled in IL.  Pickup, arrange shipping or can deliver to Mid Ohio during AMA Vintage Days for a small fee and pre-payment.
