Triumph Rocket III description

America's Most Wanted Bike - This is the Triumph Rocket owned by John Walsh, host of America's Most Wanted and ridden on the show in 2009. You can still see him astride this beautiful bike on the homepage of the show's website.

When I purchased the bike, it had only 106 miles on the odometer. I've enjoyed riding it, and now it has 4,450 miles. Optional equipment includes floorboards and a chrome oil tank. Otherwise, it is in beautiful stock condition. It has a toe/heel shifter, but the heel post has been removed. The bike has never been dropped nor hit.

The bike comes with a solo seat, but I also have a Corbin Dual Tour seat with backrest, which can be purchased separately. The rear fender has very small marks and a slight indentation where the dual seat rested on the fender. This would be covered by a passenger seat if one was installed.

Now is your chance to own one of the baddest bikes on the streets. The price has been adjusted for quick sale.

Zero Enters South American Market

Wed, 28 Sep 2011

Zero Motorcycles has signed a distribution deal with the Brazilian dealer network Grupo Izzo, bringing its electric motorcycles to first Brazil, and soon across South America. Brazil is one of the world’s fastest growing markets for motorcycles, a market Zero hopes to tap with its new distribution deal. Grupo Izzo is based mainly in Brazil with 11 locations, but has plans to expand into other South American countries.

Go camping with your bike

Thu, 05 Jul 2012

Keep your bike close to you when you go camping with the MOTOTENT from motorcycle adventurers Lone Rider. Priced at £450, here's a round-up of the features from Lone Rider: The MOTOTENT is spacious enough to shelter a dual sport bike as big a BMW R1200 GSA with all its luggage, to have room to work on it, and to be able to stand in the tent. The tunnel-shaped design allows a very quick setup of the tent when needed.

Riding round the north of Scotland

Mon, 20 Aug 2012

I’m ashamed to say that until last week, I had no idea what incredible roads and scenery the North West of Scotland had to offer. Starting at Helensburgh just west of Glasgow, ten of us (including ex racers Duffus, MacPherson, Morrison and Simpson,) rode 600 miles round the coast then back down to Inverness. On mostly empty but immaculate roads we lost count of the mountains, lochs and sandy beaches along the way.
