Triumph Rocket III description

This auction is for a fantastic Rocket III.  I am the second owner and had it since the 500 mile mark, so at 23,500 I've had some great times!  This bike is in excellent condition, runs flawless and will give years of great use.  Added leather tank bra with double backpack tank bags gives plenty of storage for long hauls.  I have all original cowling and OEM air cleaner ducting if you prefer to restore from triple K&N upgrade. I'm located in Ft Lauderdale and have made trouble free trips on this bike to New Orleans, Atlanta, and Key West. This monster is a real eye catcher and people stop me to comment and admire frequently.

Shayna Texter Looks Towards 2014 Sacramento Mile

Thu, 12 Jun 2014

Even a month-and-a-half out, 23-year-old factory Triumph rider, Shayna Texter, has her eyes on the Sacramento Mile scheduled for July 26, 2014. Although Sacramento is a continent away from her Willow Street, PA home, Texter has the momentum of having won the Pro Singles class events at the Cal Expo for the past two years. For 2014, Texter has stepped up to the premier class, the Grand National Championship, and begins the adjustment from the Pro Singles support class to the big show.

2010 Triumph Rocket III Roadster [video]

Wed, 07 Oct 2009

Over the past few model years Triumph strove to create some sense of how the Rocket can be used, eventually creating a touring-friendly model with windscreen and saddlebags as standard, called the Rocket III Touring. Then came the Rocket III Classic. More pulled back handlebars, floorboards rather than pegs, and two-tone paint helped define the powerful motorcycle as something appealing to the cruiser crowd.

A weekend of Lawn mower racing, Big Ed, Muc Off and Carlsberg

Mon, 14 Jun 2010

Around this time every summer the BMF hold the Garden Of England Motorcycle Show otherwise known as GEMS. The show happens to be round the corner from me so event sponsors MCE Insurance kindly sent me some passes so I could have a look around. Apart from the usual trade stands and crazy arena antics one of the highlights was the national lawn mower racing championship.
