Triumph Other description

If it’s all about the journey, the 2012 Triumph America is just the ticket. Settle into the comfortable seat, turn the key below your left thigh, flick the start button and forget about everything else.
This easy and comfortable cruiser allows the rider to focus on the sights, sounds and smells of the ride, instead of keeping half a mind on the bike beneath. You can dare to be different with the classic 865cc parallell twin setting itself apart from all of the Vs on the market. This is a beautiful bike, just waiting for its new owner. It is in near perfect cosmetic condition. It starts right up, runs smoothly and idles well. It rides and shifts exactly as it should. The tires are both in good condition. There are no hidden surprises here for you to discover upon receiving the bike. We are Anything on Wheels, in business for 10 years and located in beautiful Deland FL at 1117 N Woodland Blvd. You are welcome to call us at 386-736-1993 and ask any questions you would like regarding this bike, or to stop by and see it. We may be able to help with affordable shipping depending on where you need the bike sent. We charge only a $99 dealer fee which will be added to your winning bid. You will be responsible to pay sales tax and any title or tag fees based upon your states or counties requirements.

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?

Tue, 30 Dec 2008

A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
