Triumph Other description

2007 Triumph Thruxton
  • 900cc twin in the Cafe Racer style
  • terrific condition. If you've never ridden a Thruxton they have plenty of power and are very smooth for a twin. Over 5k rpm they really come alive. Very agile bike.
  • never been dropped or injured in any way
  • carbureted, just like the old Bonnevilles
  • 29k miles. It has a fair amount of miles on it but then it hasn't been sitting in a garage for years, it's been ridden and well maintained
  • everything is in great shape, including tires, seat, paint
  • aftermarket: exhaust, brake lines, fender eliminator, etc
  • stock parts are included in the sale if you want them

**Serious buyers only please**

Bonneville Performance Flat-Track (Video); Triumph gets back to its dirt-track roots

Tue, 07 May 2013

Last fall we attended the season finale of the AMA Pro Grand National Championship, and we were blown away with the intense level of competition. Our full report and video can be seen here. As the 2013 season is ramping up, we just got wind of a new video Triumph produced to showcase its invigorated factory dirt-track racing involvement, now with Latus Motors Racing joining up with the Bonneville Performance team we showcased in the above report.

Another bikes vs. car drift battle

Fri, 13 Jan 2012

Icon have just released a sequel to last year's popular drift video that featured Nick Brocha on a stretched ZX10 racing alongside a Corvette-Powered RX7.  Upping the stakes this time, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil, both onboard Triumph Speed Triples that have been built for the sole purpose of moving forward, but sideways. Taking up the rear is a supercharged 550hp Ford Mustang Cobra, quite apt really seeing how the film ends. Like the recent Jorian Ponomareff 'Drift Gymkhana', its great to see another video that does justice to the talent on show.

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
