Triumph Daytona description

2008 Triumph Daytona 675 SE

This bike has been well maintained.  I change the oil and filter every 6 months and clean/lube the chain after every ride.  I've kept her extremely clean and covered in the garage.  The only additions to the bike are tank grips and a GB Racing Frame Slider Kit that I installed in 2013.  Bike has Dunlop Q3 tires with 75% tread life left.  Currently only 6000 miles on the odometer.  There are a couple small scratches from being trailered but nothing major that stands out.  No mechanical issues, runs great!  The exup valve does need to be replaced or removed but doesn't cause any issues with the bike or motor.

I purchased this bike in 2013 with 3800 miles on it.  I've become consumed with work and other projects and just don't have the time to ride her anymore.  This bike is absolutely beautiful and I'd like to see her go to a good home that will take care of her and ride her like she's meant to be ridden.  Local pick up only and no test rides.

2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple Neutral Indicator Recall Expands to US

Mon, 27 May 2013

One of two recalls recently announced for the 2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple in Canada has now been announced for the U.S. Following the earlier recall announced by Transport Canada, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced a recall for the Speed Triple because the neutral indicator light may incorrectly remain lit when the motorcycle is actually in gear.

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.

2013 Triumph Special Edition Bonneville and Speed Triple Announced

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

Triumph has revealed Special Edition versions of the Bonneville and Speed Triple for 2013, proving once again that nothing delivers a bang for the buck like cosmetic enhancements to popular models. Most appealing to our eyes is the subtle but sexy Triumph Speed Triple SE (pictured above.) Its Matte Graphite color is beautifully set off by soft blue accents of the frame, swingarm, subframe and wheel pinstriping. Included on the SE are a color-matched fly screen, belly pan and seat cowl.
