2007 Triumph Daytona 675, Tornado red Daytona 675. Bone stock with factory TOR exhaust. New D.I.D. gold chain, Shrink Raven tires with 80% life (never had issues with these tires. 3rd set used with no sticking issues). New brake fluid. Bike was toppled over by previous owner at a stand still. Only scratched the edge of mirrors. Fairings in excellent condition. 6000k h.I.d.s. for hi and low beams. *removable* black out for headlights. New gel bike master gel battery and upgraded rectifier with MOSFET design. Bad stitching for passenger seat came undone. Will try to fix before sale. This bike is amazing, but other priorities come first. Price is $6500 OBO. 2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple Transmission Recall Now Includes US
Fri, 31 May 2013As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for the 2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple because the transmission may have been built with the wrong detent arm spring. A similar recall was announced for Canada earlier this month, so we knew it was a matter of time before the recall was announced for the U.S. market.
2012 Triumph Street Triple sighted
Fri, 03 Jun 2011Whilst sauntering home from work the other evening, in a double-take I stumbled upon a 2012 Triumph Street Triple, the one with the 675 engine. Thinking that I had discovered a 'scoop' that this bike was being previewed in Islington I hastily took shots on my (un)smart phone - only to find out that the 2012 Street Triple has already been released to the streets of the UK. Peers have described the new slanty lights of the Speed/Street Triple as 'looking a bit mongoloid' but I have to disagree.
