1970 Triumph Daytona T100R, updated. 40,510 miles on odometer. Original patina Jacaranda purple. New single Keihin carburetor, Boyer-Bransden electronic ignition, solid state charging system, halogen headlight, wiring harness, and oil filter. Upgraded to a 1971 with OEM Triumph directional signals (with LED bulbs). Runs great and usually starts with one kick. Included are all the original 1970 Triumph Daytona parts including the (2) Amal carburetors, controls & cables, ignition system, headlight parts, plus a replacement (chrome) oil tank, shop manual and misc. spares. 2014 Triumph Thunderbird Commander, Thunderbird LT Models Outted in CARB Documents
Tue, 15 Oct 2013An executive order released by the California Air Resources Board reveals two new additions to the Triumph Thunderbird cruiser lineup. Joining the base Thunderbird and the Thunderbird Storm (both of which have already received CARB certification for 2014) are two new versions, the Thunderbird LT and the Thunderbird Commander. According to the executive order, both new T-birds will be powered by a 1700cc engine designated as the ETDXC1.70KMM, the same engine family designation assigned to the parallel-twin engine powering the Thunderbird Storm.
2015 Triumph 250 Preview
Mon, 18 Nov 2013With all the new motorcycles Triumph presented earlier this month at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, we were hoping to see the company’s new 250cc models. Unfortunately, the new small-displacement Triumph models (which made our list of Top 10 Motorcycles to Watch For at EICMA) were not yet ready to be revealed, though Triumph did offer us a glimpse of what to expect, with a sketch of its 250 sportbike. At Milan, the company referred to the sportbike as “Triumph’s New 250″, though it will get a proper name when it’s officially, presented as a 2015 model, likely at next year’s EICMA show or at Intermot in Cologne, Germany.
