Twin pea-shooter exhausts, two-tone paint and that Triumph embossed seat say �classic British motorcycle’ but while the T100 may look like its come straight out of �the day’, the technology and ride experience most definitely do not. The 865 cubic-centimeter engine, an air-cooled parallel twin of course, is fitted with up-to-date fuel injection for clean and efficient riding. Plus, the suspension and brakes are bang up-to-date too. You won’t have to sacrifice today’s technology to satisfy your taste for classic, vintage design. Riding the way it was in the hay day. The future. But we can't have it
Thu, 10 Nov 2011It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

Then came the Rocket III Classic. More pulled back handlebars, floorboards rather than pegs, and two-tone paint helped define the powerful motorcycle as something appealing to the cruiser crowd.
