Triumph Bonneville description
This is a complete running 1976 triumph Bonneville. It was restored 3291 miles ago (odometer was reset) motor and trans were rebuilt, tank painted, new seat and frame powder coated. The bile was put together to ride, it has adjustable shocks, different aftermarket mirrors, new pipes etc. It does have disk brakes with drilled rotors.
Bike starts right up and runs well, sometimes takes a few kicks but goes well. The engine in the bike is 1977, I do also have the fame that matches the motor if you want it and actually have a title for that frame as well. Frame leaks oil at the swing arm, so it was not used and would need some repair. Again this bike was built to be ridden so it was not an issue when rebuilt.
I bought this in a lot of bikes from a collector and have not owned it long, but they guy I got it from was very meticulous and this was his rider until he got into triples.
I am around often if you are local and want to see it.
Thanks James

Triumph Motorcycles Arriving in India in November
Thu, 01 Aug 2013It’s a year behind schedule, but Triumph announced it will introduce its motorcycles to India by November. The British manufacturer had been gearing up for an Indian launch for over two years now, initially planning to enter the market in 2012. No reasons were given for the delay, and the sudden departure of Triumph Motorcycles India Managing Director Ashish Joshi didn’t help, but Triumph finally appears ready to start up operations in India.
Recall for 2011 Triumph Tiger 800, 800XC Accessory Center Stands
Mon, 29 Aug 2011Triumph is recalling accessory center stands for the 2011 Tiger 800 and Tiger 800XC because of a defective return spring. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the return springs on the accessory center stand for the Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC may not always return to its original length, potentially leading to a loose center stand and a fracture in the spring wire. Riders may detect a rattling sound from the loose stand and in the case of a fractured spring, a scraping sound caused by the center stand dragging along the road.
