1974 Triumph Bonneville T140V 750 with .020 over pistons, dual Mikunis, hot cam, short rod motor, four races since rebuild, runs strong. Five-speed transmission with race cut gears. Chromoly 4130 frame with quick-change Borrani and DID wheels, Betor forks, Trackmaster-type swing arm and fiberglass tank/seat. Have not identified frame manufacturer but steering head has nine digit number stamped. Both kick and remote start drive on crank. New battery, new wiring, rebuilt carbs, new fuel filter, fresh engine and primary oil and cleaned sump filter. Good chain and good overall condition. Notarized Bill of Sale. Unchained: 2013 Triumph Rocket III Free of Power Restrictions
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Triumph has updated its Rocket III cruiser for 2013, adding more blacked-out components and a new seat, but perhaps the most significant change is what Triumph took away: the electronic torque limiter. Previous versions of the Triumph Rocket III and the Rocket III Touring variant had its power and torque neutered in the first three gears. The reins are off for 2013 however, with the Rocket III’s 2294cc engine delivering full power in all gears.
2013 Triumph Trophy Fuel Tank Recall Now Includes US
Fri, 07 Jun 2013A recent recall announced for the 2013 Triumph Trophy and Trophy SE for a potential fuel leak has now expanded to the U.S. The recall, previously announced by Transport Canada, concerns a production error for the fuel tank of the affected units. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the two layers used in the construction of the fuel tank may not properly adhere to each other, resulting in a potential fuel leak.
