Up for sale is a 1970 Triumph T120R Bonneville Motorcycle. Matching Numbers ND 30601. 7,419 Original miles. It Has been sitting since the late 1980's. Clear Title. Does not Run. Turns over with plenty of compression. Brakes do work. Shifts through the gears. Looks to be complete. Overall the chrome shows pitting/ rust but everything is solid, no rot. Gas tank has light rust inside. Seat pan is solid. Fenders have no dents. Tank has no dents. Overall would make a great project to restore. Two Triumph land speed bikes, the Gyronaut X-1 and the Castrol Rocket, will be on display at the New York Progressive International Motorcycle Show this weekend. Jason DiSalvo, pilot of the Castrol Rocket and winner of the 2011 Daytona 200 will also be in attendance to meet fans and talk about the project. The Gyronaut X-1 is the last Triumph motorcycle to hold the ultimate motorcycle land speed record. The X-1 first set the motorcycle land speed record in 1965 at 212.689mph, while its 1966 record at 245.667mph stood until 1970.

Triumph Motorcycles Produces 500,000th in John Bloor Hinckley Era

Triumph is celebrating the 500,000th motorcycle produced in the John Bloor era with a tour across the United Kingdom with English stand-up comedian Ross Noble. The landmark motorcycle, a one-off Triumph Speed Triple, is the 500,000th unit produced by the modern Triumph Motorcycles company since Bloor revived the brand in 1990. Carrying VIN number 500,000, the milestone Speed Triple features a special red, white and blue color scheme with the triple-cross of the Union Jack on the fuel tank.
