I'm making this short and simple and if you want more info please give
me a call. When have you seen a old school show bike that you would love
to have.
I took this bike in trade and will list what I was told about.. 1970 Triumph Bonneville TR6 Old School Chopper former Show and Magazine Bike. The one pic with the babe is when it was in one of the magazines. It was painted down south (Socal) by a Very well known builder but I never did get who done it. It's got a TR6 (single carb head) 750 kit done to it. Nice Cam All the 650's have dual inlets but the TR6 they are flat and side by side. The Bonneville was spaced a little more for the twin carbs. Has Morris magneto. The back Rim and brake hub does have a little of the chrome thats not perfect. I'm not sure when it was built and was featured in the magazines and showed. It does run and looks great. Everyone that looks at it goes nuts about it.. Would be Great for Cruise Nights and car or motorcycle shows. I'm going to list it at $12500 and open to all offers on part trade and cash. Might deliver for a price. **Watching doesn't buy a nice show bike like this..bid with confidence or call to make offers! Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
Triumph’s 500,000th Production Motorcycle Headed to Auction on July 1st
Thu, 16 Jun 2011It was less than a month ago that Triumph’s 500,000th production motorcycle, a special Speed Triple with commemorative paint job, rolled off the line. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will put the special Trumpet on the auction block on July 1, 2011, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Comedian Ross Noble has completed his Sit Down Tour of Great Britain with the milestone Triumph, and now the bike is ready to raise money for Riders for Health charity.

Fri, 04 Oct 2013On January 9, 2014, during the fourth annual Las Vegas Sale of motorcycles at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Bonhams, the world’s largest auction house for cars, motorcycles and memorabilia, will be auctioning off over 50 motorcycles from the extensive Wayne Pierce family museum collection, all offered at no reserve. Among the machines is a first-year Harley-Davidson Sportster believed to be the 10th XL883 produced in 1957, a 1933 Harley VLE police bike that saw actual duty on the streets of Chicago before being cast in the 1987 Kevin Costner gangster movie, “The Untouchables,” and an authentic and unrestored 1947 Harley Knucklehead wearing period aftermarket accessories. Wayne “Pappy” Pierce started his Harley-Davidson dealership in 1957, run out of a one-room tin shed in DeKalb, Illinois.
