Triumph Bonneville description

This is a listing for 1968 Triumph Bonneville front frame, rear frame, swing arm and matching motor cases with MI title. Ideal for someone with a non-matching complete bike looking to rebuild.

Stock frame has all mounts and brackets intact and has been blasted and is in primer.
Motor cases are perfect and do not have any chain damage.

You can see I also have other parts for this project I have been collecting that can be available for sale in addition to the basic auction upon pickup:
* main stand/side stand
* oil tank and side cover (side cover is painted and has graphic - I was going to turn this into a TT clone)
* correct 68-only front wheel
* triple trees (either stock or fixed bar TT type) and speedo mount
* headlamp ears (either stock or TT type)
* engine plates and front foot pegs (either stock or folding TT type)
* chain guard
* rear shocks, wheel hub and brake assembly
* peanut fuel tank
* seat pan
* barrels, correct cylinder head and rocker boxes
* tail lamp
* rear foot rest hangars and pegs
Most of these parts are already powder coated and ready to go.

Note: I am NOT planning to sell the stainless fenders - need them for another project !

I will not ship this item due to risk of damage - so pickup from Brighton MI only.

2015 Triumph Daytona 250 Spied

Fri, 29 Nov 2013

Spy photographers have captured images of Triumph‘s upcoming 250cc sportbike. The new sportbike (we’re calling it the Daytona 250 until Triumph tells us otherwise) is one of two new 250cc single-cylinder models Triumph is designed primarily for India, where Triumph officially started operations this week. There is a very good chance however the Daytona 250 and its naked roadster sibling will be exported to other markets including here in the U.S.

Charge Up you iPhone While You Ride

Fri, 12 Feb 2010

Motorcyclists can now enjoy total freedom on the open road confident in the knowledge that their cell phones, GPS, MP3 players and latest generation of iPhone/iTouch devices will remain fully-charged and in-service for the duration of the ride thanks to Powerlet’s plug and play systems. “Our product line was inspired by personal experience and the realization that there were no worthwhile options for clean, reliable on-board power for cell phones, stereos and GPS devices,” says Powerlet Products founder Adam Bonislawaski. “Before we came on to the scene, riders would bust out the black tape and wire strippers and cut into their bike’s fragile wiring to tie-in a cheap cigar lighter to power their devices.

Spy Video of Updated Triumph Daytona 675 Testing

Fri, 05 Aug 2011

MCN has released a video of what appears to be an updated Triumph Daytona 675 undergoing road testing. Filmed by an MCN reader near Triumph’s Hinckley factory, the video quality isn’t very high, but we can see some details from the enhanced screenshot above (click to see a larger version). The most noticeable change is the placement of the exhaust.
