Triumph Bonneville description

1965 Triumph Bonneville. Numbers match—Vehicle Identification Number: T120R DU20941. Excellent appearance and running condition. Clear Michigan title—as a 1965 Triumph. I am unsure of the actual mileage since the person that I bought it from was not the person who did the custom work.

I am relisting this bike because the high bidder did not compete the sale. Here is what he said:

sorry, can no longer ride,
sorry for the inconvience

Recall for 2010 Triumph Thunderbird

Mon, 16 May 2011

Triumph Motorcycles is starting a recall campaign on certain 2010 Thunderbird cruisers due to a problem with the front fender fasteners. On certain 2010 Triumph Thunderbirds, including some ABS-equipped units, the four screws on the front fender mounts may come loose. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the plating used on the fender mounting included friction modifiers which are not compatible with the thread lock compound used on the screws.

Speed Triple gets mean

Fri, 29 Oct 2010

I headed up the M1 this week to the Triumph Factory in Hinckley. The Speed Triple was due its 12000 mile major service and the workshop also had some new shiny bits to add to the bike for me. Service intervals are every 6000 miles which is more than bearable but the major service will cost you around £450.
