Suzuki TL1000r description

Selling one of my collector bikes that I will truly miss. Hate to sell but I have 2 TL1000R's and my next project awaits. So here are all the details on the bike at what you could possibly own.

Flush front amber turn signals and rear clear side turn signals.
Just Installed a new Hotbodies fiberglass complete undertail with LED brake and turn signals built in. Makes the tail end of the bike look like it was meant to be and you can't miss these bright lights. You can see the original picture with the stock tail light in one picture and what it looks like now!

Never been laid down or fallen over in 15 years. That is hard to believe I'm only the 3rd owner and always garage kept its entire life. Does have a few small rock dings and small scratches from the miles but no external damage anywhere that I've found. There is a internal connector tab missing on the left lower cowling but does not affect anything at all. I'm very meticulous about my bikes and have a passion like reflects in all my bikes. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this bike!

If you are looking for a unique sport bike that is like new you will not be disappointed in this bike. The V-Twin engine is one of the most solid twin Japanese engines every designed and Suzuki went on to use this motor in their prized SV 1000 bikes. There are very few bikes that sound as good as these do when you set them up right and love the torque and ease of riding this bike compared to any of my GSXR's. Suzuki produced these to compete against the Ducati 916 that was an incredible bikes but cost way too much and the maintenance was expensive as all hell and just not worth it. Honda produced their RVT 1000 RC51 but in stock form the TL1000r beat it in every way until you through $10K at the Honda and purchase the HRC kits to wake the damn thing up. If you ever thought of owning a V-Twin Superbike this is a great chance to pickup a perfect specimen and be a proud owner of something different than a in-line 4 cylinder bike. I have both and just like each bikes style and ride.
Have listed locally here in the Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho and if sold I will remove auction on Ebay.

Here are what he reviews stated about the bike overall in stock form:
The Suzuki TL1000R has a truly awesome engine, producing a claimed 135bhp and though it revs another 1000rpm higher than the TL1000S, the Suzuki TL1000R still feels like it makes as much power as a Ducati 916 can manage, by about 6000 revs. Sheer, liquid, adrenaline-pumping lunge and the fuel injection works better on the TL1000R than on the Suzuki TL1000S.
The TL1000R's motor can take all kinds of abuse without any problems and the overall finish is quite high - for a Suzuki. The Suzuki TL1000R will still show some corrosion rapidly if you foolishly rode it through winter, it is basically a summer trackday kinda motorcycle. Electrics on the Suzuki TL1000R's can play up and it needs a strong battery to start that big motor.
The Suzuki TL1000 range feature one of the truly great V-twin engines, in some of the most unpredictable handling chassis ever devised. The Suzuki TL1000R has an improved rear shock, which doesn't misbehave so much as the TL1000S model's, but both motorcycles get so light at the front end, so very easily with all that V-twin grunt on tap. The Suzuki TL1000R is exciting to ride, but for experts/nutters only.
Similar to the Ducati 916 , Honda RVT 1000 RC51 or Suzuki SV1000 for comparison

Fri, 09 Nov 2012

Suzuki made headlines earlier this week when its American subsidiary filed for Chapter 11 and announced it is quitting the automobile business to focus on motorcycles and its marine operations. American Suzuki‘s car business has been struggling for a while and it remains to be seen how these developments will affect its motorcycle business. Today, Suzuki released its report for the first half of its 2012-2013 fiscal year, providing much needed context to the earlier news.

The World Endurance Championship Starts This Weekend

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

Endurance racing is perhaps the ultimate test of both man and machine. In the past, teams would pace themselves in order to rest both elements enough to make a final push at the end. These days, however, motorcycles are more reliable than ever, and riders train like triathletes.
