This 2013 SFV650 Gladius has a 90 degree V-Twin double overhead cam engine. It is liquid cooled, has a chain drive, 6 speed transmission, and a compact open trellis frame. The bike is pretty much stock except for the exhaust slip on. This is a great handling machine and has been flagged as being one of the most capable bikes in it's class. The SV series bike from Suzuki has had a very large following and it has been around for close to 20 years.
Since I took pictures of this bike I have replaced both tires. (could have used a rear only but thought it would be nice to offer up brand new tires both front and rear) Please note that the speedometer glass has a few scratches on it most likely from a key ring with a few keys on it. Also, the exhaust has some discoloring on the header. The two items mentioned are both pictured as not no mislead or misrepresent the bike in any way. FIM Updates Superbike Racing Homologation Lists for 2013
Tue, 19 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.
