Cycle World stated about the Susuki SV1000S on their site:

Why it won: The SV1000S (as well as its naked brethren, the SV1000 that was sold here only in 2003) never won a Ten Best award, but it nonetheless is a surprisingly capable sportbike. Its one-liter V-Twin engine has a powerband that starts in the basement and stays strong all the way up to the 11,000-rpm redline. And even though it rides on a conventional “right-side-up” fork, its aluminum-framed chassis provides sufficient backroad handling to give quite a few all-out sportbikes a respectable run for their money.

Despite its impressive competence and fantastic affordability, the SV1000S never achieved the sales success of its little brothers, the SV650 and SV650S, fading from Suzuki’s lineup after five years. But don’t let that stop you from contemplating the purchase of a used 1000S; these are big-time fun motorcycles that now can be bought for small change.

The above photos show both sides of bike, close-up of both sides of engine, close-up of front and rear tire treads, front and rear lights, double seat and odometer. The last photo shows the ignition plate damage.  The motorcycle has always been garaged.  Brake fluid had leaked onto the ignition plate.  It sat there for some time and ate through the paint, before it was discovered.  Using the correct type of paint it can be easily repainted.

Only purchase this motorcycle after all your questions have been answered.

Intermot 2012: Updated Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive Introduced in Cologne

Wed, 03 Oct 2012

Suzuki introduced an updated Burgman 650 scooter at the 2012 Intermot show, refining the maxi-scooter’s styling and giving a boost in fuel economy. The 2013 Suzuki Burgman 650 is powered by a 638cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine, the same powerplant used when the scooter first debuted in 2002. Though the engine is essentially the same, Suzuki claims the 2013 Burgman 650 uses 15% less fuel than the previous model due to a refined transmission system and reduced losses from friction.

WSBK 2013: Aragon Race Report

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.
