Suzuki RM description

Buyers with less than 10 positive feedback, please contact me before bidding. Failure to do so will result in bid cancellation and and blockage from future auction.

Please check my other auctions for a like new condition original 2001 Honda CR500 and 1985 Honda ATC250ES big red.

For sale is this very original 1986 Suzuki RM125. As you can tell by the 'buddy pegs' it was not purchased to race, but to ride around a large farm in central NJ. Although it does start, run, ride and stop relatively well, it has not been used regularly in years and needs some attention. It has an exhaust leak where the exhaust meets the cylinder, the kickstarter doesn't spring back to its original upright position as it should, and it does leak some fuel from the carb if the gas is not turned off while parked. In my mind the good far outweighs the bad being that it is 30 years old and still wears all of its original plastics and seat, the wheels spin freely, the tires hold air, the suspension works as it should, and the motor runs/rides well. I have not done a single thing to it and have decided to sell as found so the next owner can take the bike the direction he/she wants.

All in all it is a very well preserved vintage dirtbike that would be at home in the trails, vintage AMRMA events, or a cool survivor conversation piece for your mancave/garage. If you have any questions not discussed above or below please feel free to call me 732-772-5545.

Included in the auction is the 1986 Suzuki as pictured with a notarized bill of sale. There is no title for the bike but it has a clear owner history.

TERMS: $100 deposit payable through paypal, balance by cashiers check or cash. All funds must be cleared prior to vehicle release.

I do not offer any type of shipping, crating, or payment plans. If you need it shipped or financed please have the logistics sorted out prior to bidding.

Yoshimura Suzuki Signs Martin Cardenas to Race AMA Superbike Championship

Tue, 22 Jan 2013

Reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas has signed on to race in the AMA Superbike class for Yoshimura Suzuki. The move was rumored to be in the works for quite some time now, especially following Cardenas’ release from the final year of his contract with his former employer Team Hammer. Cardenas will return to the Superbike class this season, riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000 alongside teammate Chris Clark.

2014 AMA Supercross – Daytona Results

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

Ryan Villopoto was dominant in Daytona, leading all 20 laps to win his third race of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki ride strengthened his hold on the 2014 AMA Supercross championship lead, padding his lead over Red Bull KTM riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen. The reigning three-time champion was far and away the fastest racer on the Daytona International Speedway infield, posting lap times more than a second faster than anyone else.

Seeley On Form On First Night Of North West 200

Fri, 16 May 2014

Alastair Seeley took a double in the Ballymoney Borough council Supersport and Pirtek Superstock events at the start of racing at the Vauxhall International North West 200 this evening, what many “real” road racers refer to as the precursor to the Isle Of Man TT. In the Supersport race, the ‘Wee Wizard’ survived being caught up in a first lap crash at York hairpin that left him languishing in 16th to come through and win the opening race of the night on his Mar-Train Yamaha R6. Lee Johnston was the rider who went down in the first lap crash, causing Seeley to take evasive action to avoid going down himself.
