Suzuki RM description

1978 Suzuki RM 250 C , 100% Restored to New Condition ,This bike looks like the day it was purchased from the Suzuki Dealer . This is the Rarest of all the Suzuki RMs from this era ,less than 3,000 produced world wide, and the very last RM with the aluminum Tank .These are as rare as hens teeth .

This bike is as correct as it gets with most RM restorations you will not see Correct Rear Sprocket , silencers, and all the original hardware was re zinced all the S bolts screws washers are the correct ones and correct vintage  IRC Motto cross knobby tires, correct grips controls and levers .

Engine completely gone through all  clearances and tolerances checked very low hr engine took it from STD bore to .50 over installed new Suzuki piston and rings  New Crank Bearings.All new seals and OEM gasket kit to reassemble .

The rolling Chassis was totally gone through too many NOS OEM parts to list .100% mechanically restored.

All new Plastic .

 

Wheels were taken down aluminum buffed to correct sheen spokes re plated ,hubs blasted/painted re laced and trued .

All paint work performed by a highly skilled and meticulous automotive body and paint tech .

 

These bikes were sold in as is condition from the dealer this bike even has the sticker on the handlebars that states so .Same applies to this auction .With that said I'm a very reasonable person to deal with check my feed back .

Anti clockwise Knockhill and riding in the North East with GP winners.

I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.

James Stewart Splits From JGRMX, Signs with Yoshimura Suzuki

James Stewart and the Joe Gibbs Racing MX (JGRMX) Yamaha racing team have agreed to cut ties, ending their multi-year contract after a single AMA Supercross season. Stewart almost immediately signed a new multi-year deal with Yoshimura Suzuki to compete in both the AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross Championships. Stewart had a promising start to the season with JGRMX but wasn’t as competitive as eventual champion Ryan Villopoto or Ryan Dungey.
