Though the M109 is considered a cruiser motorcycle. The is full of top-shelf technology. Like _'s Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) injection system and _'s rac-proven Composite Electrochemical Material SCEM that lines the cylinder heads. At the heart of the M109 power cruiser is a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 54-degree V-Twin. A 5 gear transmission passes power to a shaft final drive. The has a two-stage cam drive that creates a compact cylinder head and short engine height which allows for a low center of gravity. The 1800cc engine sits in a high-tensile double-cradle steel frame. Besides the , _'s power cruiser is offered in 2 other variations, the leaner two and a Limited Edition that adds a sporty racing stripe, custom gauges, a custom taillight, and a uniquely styled seat. 2009-2011 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Recalled for Side Stand Interlock Switch

Suzuki is issuing a recall for 2009-2011 GSX-R1000 because of a potential failure of the side stand interlock switch. The interlock switch is what cuts off the ignition circuit on a motorcycle when the side stand is down and the transmission is in any gear except neutral. Its purpose is to prevent a motorcycle from moving with the stand deployed.

The big news from Suzuki this past weekend was preview and release of specs for the new 2014 V-Strom 1000 in France at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Slightly overshadowed however was the official unveiling of two new Burgman scooters with 125cc and 200cc engines. European consumers have had the Burgman 200 and Burgman 125 (perennially one of the top selling scoots in Europe) for more than a decade now while here in North America, we’ve only have the larger Burgman 650 model.
