2012 Suzuki V-Strom 1000, Any questions call and ask for Joey Rocket 6029928620The V-Strom 1000, which is part of the Sport Enduro Touring category Suzuki nicknamed with the original V-Strom DL1000 in 2002, was designed to provide the rider a machine capable of taking on everything from the street to some off-road Adventure riding The 2012 V-Strom 1000 features a fuel-injected, 90-degree V-Twin that s tuned for low- and mid-range torque. The engine is hooked to a six-speed transmission with a hydraulic clutch for effortless pulls, and a final-chain drive. The V-Strom 1000's chassis was designed to comfortably take on the twisties, but also has 6.5 inches of ground clearance for those adventurous back roads. The front suspension utilizes a 43mm fork, and the rear a link-type suspension, both providing 6.3 inches of suspensions travel.

Yoshimura Offering Limited Edition Suzuki GSX-R Sportbikes

Yoshimura made a name for itself tuning championship-winning Suzuki racebikes, but for the first time, the company is producing a run of limited edition Gixxers for the public. Yoshimura R&D of America is offering a number of 2011 and 2012 Suzuki GSX-R600s, GSX-R750s and GSX-R1000s equipped with a host of upgrades. Each individually numbered GSX-R comes equipped with EPA- and CARB-compliant Yoshimura R-77 carbon fiber slip-ons and a number of aluminum CNC machined components.

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.

We’re just days away from the start of the 2014 MotoGP season and one would think it’s a little late for series organizers to make any significant rule changes. At least, one would think that if one were unfamiliar with the political back-and-forths going on between the major manufacturers and MotoGP promoter Dorna. But with the season-opening Qatar round about to begin, the Grand Prix Commission approved new rules establishing a compromise between the new Factory and Open options.
