1985 Suzuki RG500 located in Santa Ana, California. Bike has 11,722 KM = 7033 Miles on it. Engine ran o k when we purchased the bike about 1 year ago. The carbs to be cleaned now. The upper and lower fairings are cracked. The wheels on the bike are Campagnolo Magnesium. Wheels are period correct for this bike and are the same wheels used on the racers. The wheels alone are worth between $1500.00-$2000.00. A new set costs about $3500.00. Bike also has a Daytona steering damper on it. We don't have a title for this bike. Bike is sold with a bill of sale only. Ask questions and look at the pictures carefully before you bid. Bike is sold as is, no returns. Buyer to arrange the shipping. Local pick up is ok. Yes its good honest people back in charge of the Derbyshire circuit so we saw summer sunshine for Friday’s free practice and also for WSB race two on Sunday. The circuit is better than ever with a new Esses section in place, and while the paddock remains unchanged, work has already started that will see gradual revamp over the year ahead.
Suzuki MotoGP Team Make Progress In Final European Test At Mugello
Thu, 26 Sep 2013A week on from the Suzuki MotoGP test at the Misano circuit, and the team has wrapped up its final test of the season at Mugello. Here, team riders Randy DePuniet and Nobu Aoki tested a new cowling, an updated chassis, as well as further revisions to the electronics package. The new cowling was reported to give a better top-speed performance without any negative effects under different circuit conditions, so it was an improvement and step-forward from the team’s initial test of it in Misano.
John Hopkins Ready for Comeback
Sat, 08 Feb 2014When last we heard from California racer John Hopkins, the former MotoGP racer announced he would return to British Superbike racing after being out of action for nearly two years due to various injuries. With the 2014 BSB season starting in April, Hopkins spoke with Suzuki’s official racing website to provide an update on his impending return with the Tyco Suzuki team. Hopkins says he has been practicing on a motocross track and is close to a deal with the Yoshimura Suzuki AMA team to test on a Gixxer.
