Here is a 1st year Ts400 J model APACHE. This bike fires right up, first or second kick, Idles very well. It runs though all the gears like it was 10 years old not 44 years old. The entire bike has an aerosol overhaul in flat black. I have no idea what they were thinking. I rescued it from further defacing, cleaned the carb, install a new plug and it fired right up. Brake clean will remove the black paint, I have done some areas of the bike. It has matching engine and frame, the engine sounds great. air box is in place, rubber snorkels on either side of carb should be replaced. Steering stops are in place. there is a dent in right side of tank. The oil pump is functioning. This bike really deserves to be restored and it will need that. NO TITLE: I put rebuilt in there cause eBay is behind the time and the no title choice does not exist. NO paperwork. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
