-NO RESERVE AUCTION- 1970 Suzuki TS250 Hop-Up kitted early MotoCross Please see my other no reserve auction - 1974 R&D Racing TM400 semi works 1970 TS250 MX --w/Suzuki's Hop Up Kit- This is a very cool bike in very good original shape. Stripped down for MX includes all of Suzuki's over the counter 'hop up' pieces like cylinder, head, carb, pipe, 21" front wheel. Neat bike, in excellent shape and unusual. Just went through motor and installed new crank seals and rings. Runs great; fast & loud!! This was Suzuki's answer to Yamaha's MX line of enduros. Vintage pleated seat looks great and is excellent. Original airbox, oil tank, etc. Very hard to find in this condition with these rare high performance Suzuki bits included and still in place. Still running Suzuki oil injection system. Former World Champion Franco Uncini Named Grand Prix Safety Officer
Wed, 20 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation has named Franco Uncini the FIM Grand Prix Safety Officer and circuit inspector. The 1982 500cc Grand Prix World Champion (pictured on the left above) takes over for the retired Claude Danis (right in the photo) to oversee safety in MotoGP. The now 58-year-old Uncini won the 1982 World Championship for Roberto Gallina‘s factory-backed Suzuki.
