AIMExpo Celebrates Its 300th Vendor

With the signing of B&W Trailer Hitches the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) has committed 300 exhibitors to its inaugural event this October in Orlando, Fla. “To think that just three weeks ago we were announcing our 250th exhibitor and to now be at a point where 50 more brands have committed to the expo is absolutely remarkable,” says Larry Little, VP and GM of the Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group. Kevin Schwantz Once Again Wearing RS Taichi

It’s official – Kevin Schwantz will return to his early years of wearing RS Taichi. While Schwantz wore RS Taichi gear during several of his memorable seasons in the 500cc class, his partnership and success with Taichi apparel all started with his victory at the 1988 Daytona 200. And now that Schwantz and the Circuit of the Americas have settled their differences, the 1993 world champ took to the track in RS Taichi leathers again for the first time recently at the Circuit of The Americas media day, as newly appointed motorcycle ambassador for the circuit.

Rizla Suzuki welcomed back John Hopkins to Jerez and by the end of day one the American was posting some very respectable lap times. To me it seems like yesterday, but it was way back in 2007 when he last rode for the British based team ending the season 4th in the World Championship. The dry qualifying went well but he wasn’t too upset when it rained on race day as he admitted to not being bike fit and would have struggled to maintain a fast dry race pace.
