Suzuki GT380 description
1974 Gt380.True Survivor.Original Paint and chrome.Drives smooth,shifts as should.Brakes well.No rips in seat and very nice condition.Gauges are a little fogged but not to bad.Both Tac and Speedo work as should.Shifter numbers light in red as you shift through the gears.Very very little rust on the chrome,always gets looks when I ride it.Paint is cracking but Original.Small dent in tank as shown.Nice two stroke 3 cylinder bike you can take out and ride.Need to sell due to neck and back problems.I have owned it since 2010 and has clear title in my name.I have a collector plate for it.When riding it every day it starts on second kick.The carb top little boots that cover the slides are torn,I put black electrical tape aroun the ripped boots to keep the dust out.Its all original.All the rubber on the foot pegs are nice.I polished some of the engine about 5 years ago.Very cool vintage ride.A must have for the Suzuki collector.If you have any questions concerning the bike you can call Eric at Big E's Bike Shop.My store hours are Monday thru Friday.9am to 5pm central time. 9205178872 or email through ebay.Thanks for looking and please check my store for more vintage parts and I will be listing some more bikes.I put pickup only but please feel free to make arrangements yourself to have this bike shipped.I have had bikes shipped from here before,I am about 3 minutes from a major Highway.

Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?
Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
Hopkins Breaks Hand in Testing Crash – Yes, THAT Hand
Mon, 13 Feb 2012Crescent Fixi Suzuki racer John Hopkins has broken a bone in his right hand during the first day of testing at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. The injury was to the same hand Hopkins injured last season that eventually led to the amputation of the tip of his ring finger. Hopkins high-sided entering a corner riding a 2011-spec Suzuki GSX-R1000 (the 2012 superbike was not yet ready).
