This bike has been my baby for the past two years but I have moved on to a Harley. It is absolutely immaculate! Besides a small crack on the front fairing. It happened at the shop and they wouldn't own up to it. It has 10,399 miles and has been nicely riden the entire time. I am the third owner. It was originally purchased in Indiana, then in Illinois and now Wisconsin. It is the nice pearl and carbon fiber paint job. It has a jardine Gp shorty pipe and a power commander. Has a yoshimura fender eliminator and new front tire and rear tire has 1500 miles on it. Oil was just changed at 10,250. Needs NOTHING, turn the key and ride! Why I love BSB's Showdown
Thu, 26 Sep 2013It has lovers, haters and even many that still don't understand it but everyone in British bike racing is currently talking about the BSB Showdown. With my rider's or team manager's hat on, I wasn't convinced when it was first announced in 2010 but I'm now totally converted and enjoy every part of the season as intensity increases. And being a value for money Scot the best thing is you get four championships under one umbrella. Championship # 1; In the early rounds everyone on the grid has aspirations of taking the title but as the season progresses, the focus narrows down to making sure you secure that top six showdown spot over the first nineteen races (riders can also drop their worst two results). Championship #2; For the confident front runners, over these races, the real goal is the podium credit championship (3 for 1st ,2 for 2nd,1 for 3rd) which then gives them a points head start after things are put back to zero for the final seven race shoot-out. Championship #3; The best of the rest championship (7th and below) that will be battled over the final races. Championship # 4; Over the final seven races the British Superbike Champion is crowned. The recent adding and reshuffling a few top name riders for the Showdown has already spiced things up so hold on tight for the remaining five races!

Fri, 07 Mar 2014Although aftermarket grips and LED strips are both listed on the ad for this poor Suzuki, there’s no mention of the single disc conversion at the front of the bike. It’s a good job the seller is in no rush to sell. Surely this is the worst looking SV650 ever?You can see the original ad here.
Hopkins Signs with Crescent Suzuki WSBK Team
Mon, 21 Nov 2011American John Hopkins has re-signed with U.K.-based Crescent Suzuki to compete in the 2012 World Superbike Championship. Hopkins raced with Crescent Suzuki this season in the British Superbike Championship, posting an impressive 16 podium appearances including five wins to finish second in the series. His BSB success earned Hopkins wildcard rides in WSBK and MotoGP.
