Up for sale is a 2006 gsxr 600 with less than 2,000 orginal miles.I Purchased this off an older person who never rode it. I'm looking to purchase a newer model therefore im selling it. The bike needs nothing, its basically all stock except for the shorty levers that I recently replaced, I still have stock levers as well. Bike has frame sliders as well. Never been layed down or dropped but does have a scuff by mirror on left side, and a small crack on right side fairing, please check the pics. Also few minor scratches on tail fairings, other than that bike is very nice. I'm selling this locally and reserve the right to end auction. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
