This is a 1991 Suzuki gsxr 1100 with only 19,421 miles on it. The bike runs and rides great, I had the carbs cleaned and the oil changed at begining of the spring. The bike has a red wind sceen, tank bra, Yoshimura exhaust, and the seats were covered with velour and the rims were painted red and had the edges polished. This bike has all original paint, and has never been down. The right mid fairing has a small chip spot about the size of a pencil eraser in the red by the vent, and the rear fender and mud gaurd have wear on them from the tire rubbing because the bike was lowered before and rubbed when riding a passenger. 2009-2011 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Recalled for Side Stand Interlock Switch
Fri, 01 Jun 2012Suzuki is issuing a recall for 2009-2011 GSX-R1000 because of a potential failure of the side stand interlock switch. The interlock switch is what cuts off the ignition circuit on a motorcycle when the side stand is down and the transmission is in any gear except neutral. Its purpose is to prevent a motorcycle from moving with the stand deployed.
