This machine is a very strong, original survivor, Only 2 enthusiast owners since new, the second has cared for it since since 1990. It is in great condition!
Everything functions as should, mechanically and electrically.
Original exhaust system, airbox and still sporting the oem windscreen.
Fuel tank was autographed by Kevin Schwantz himself and preserved with a clear-shield.
It does have the upgraded 1100 4.0" rear wheel but the oem 3.5" is included in the sale, Fully serviced by Speedwerks. inc; new EBC brake pads, RK chain and sprockets. The front suspension has been completely rebuilt, The carbs were rebuilt and fitted with a dynojet kit.  A valve adjustment was preformed, along with NGK plugs, filters and all fluids replaced.  Metzeler Roadtec tires.
Chassis has been professionally detailed. see naked pics.
We do have some period correct upgrade parts available, if the new owner wishes, suspension,exhaust etc. These slab sides are so rare in OEM condition,we just left this one alone.

The flaws;
There are some small scratches on the lower fairing bubble and the upper has been touched up at some point. It was obviously done professionally. There is a small stress crack in one mounting point by the mid fairing.

Emile van Essen is from North Holland and, in a stroke of brilliance/lunacy, has replaced the original two-stroke three-cylinder of a 1976 Suzuki GT550 with a turbine. Sadly it does take a bit of time to get going, although any displeasure you might feel as a result would no doubt be offset by the joy of riding down the street emitting an ear-splitting howl, shattering glass and generally disturbing the peace.

The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.
