Suzuki GS description

PREVIOUSLY LISTED AS: ITEM: 121179877925, But evidently it was in an incorrect category and eBay removed the listing instead of contacting me or correcting it! My apologies to anyone who previously bid, and I hope you find it again! It seems eBay has no way of contacting bidders of an auction they removed.....

Selling "AS IS" for "Parts or Repair" Does not run! Clear title in hand!

This is my only attempt to sell and if it doesn't, I will painstakingly part it out!

Last spring on the first nice day, I tried to take her out for a ride, in my haste, I didn't let her warm up enough and the carbs fouled out and shot gas into the block. I tired flushing it out, but it has lost compression and does not run good! Engine is not seized and I am pretty sure it can be repaired, but I am not a mechanic and cannot guarantee that it can. I am selling this bike "AS-IS" for a low starting bid and "No Reserve" in the hopes that someone can fix her up. I believe I am the 2nd owner and I have had her since 2006. I put more than 20k on her and she sits with around 45k. I had the tank (coated then too) and side covers repainted the original brown in 2009. Front and back brakes have been replaced in 2010 and "newer" tires put on at the same time.

The saddle bags are pretty well shot and the trunk isn't in the best condition, but it still locks. I have all of the parts of the fairing and the lower parts were removed for summer riding and will be included. The seat is very comfortable, a lot better than the OEM straight seat, it has one small tear on the top, but other than that, it is in good shape. Battery is shot and will not hold a charge! Bike was never dropped by me!  This is a heavy bike, it handles the road well, but you need to big enough to handle it's weight!

Any questions, please ask prior to bidding. I can send additional pictures if you need something specific.

Buyer is responsible for shipping/transportation!

This is for local pick up only!

Cresent Suzuki Team Entering WSBK; Several Other Shoes Still to Drop

Fri, 21 Oct 2011

British Superbike racing team Crescent Suzuki announced it will enter the World Superbike Championship next year, but Suzuki racing fans are perhaps left with even more questions about the 2012 racing season. Crescent Suzuki will enter two riders on GSX-R1000 superbikes next season, but the team has not named its riders or described the level of support it will receive from Suzuki. This season, Crescent Suzuki fielded John Hopkins and Jon Kirkham with Hopkins falling short of winning the championship thanks to a photo finish on the season’s final race.

WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).

Suzuki Teases New Cruiser

Mon, 20 May 2013

Friday morning, May 24, Suzuki will be unveiling a few new models. Details beyond that are slim, but Suzuki has sent us a teaser rendering of one of the models, shown above. The image isn’t very large at all, but judging by the headlight shape, we’re guessing it’ll be part of the M line of cruisers.
