Suzuki GS description

Up for sale is a 1981 Suzuki GS450e - the sporty GS model, parallel twin. Bike has 22k on it. Bike has been kept inside in good condition, runs and drives great, and has fresh gas in the tank. Has a 6spd transmission and will definitely do 100mph, but is relatively light and good on gas. A good medium-small bike size and great for beginners or lovers of vintage Japanese bikes. I don't have the title, but I have the current registration paperwork for RI so you can legally register it here or in states that take Bill of Sale and proof of previous registration. Bike is currently registered and insured in RI, was riding it up until this summer.

Tires have 200 miles on them and are 1 year old. New low and sporty clubman bars, new blinkers. The only issues the bike has are that the dial on the speedo came unscrewed inside the gauge, and I didn't have time to screw it back on, but the speedo works perfectly, as does the tach and gear selector. Also, it needs a new blinker relay, which I have, but haven't soldered on yet.

Available for pickup in Pawtucket, RI.

2013 AMA Supercross Minneapolis Race Report

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Hometown hero Ryan Dungey put a stop to Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak, taking the victory before 48,846 supportive fans at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. The Red Bull KTM rider from nearby Belle Plaine, Minn., stalked Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto for most of the race before taking the lead and winning the 20-lap race by just 0.903 seconds. The win put Dungey into second place in the standings ahead of Rockstar Suzuki‘s Davi Millsaps and perhaps more importantly, cut away at Villopoto’s points lead.

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
