2013 Suzuki DR-Z400SM, CALL TO SAVE $$$$ - The Suzuki DR-Z400SM is a street legal bike for serious dirt bike enthusiasts. It's not uncommon to take the SuperMoto down a twisty forest trail as well as a tight canyon corners. Its 398 cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine provides strong low-rpm torque and crisp throttle response for any of these occasions. They key difference from the DR-Z400SM and the DR-Z400S is the inverted forks. Inverted front forks contribute to less unsprung weight and improved overall handling.

Kevin Schwantz Visits Suzuki Headquarters Ahead of Suzuka 8-Hours
Mon, 07 Jul 2014Former 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz recently visited Japan to take part in the official test for the 2014 Coca-Cola Zero Suzuka 8-Hours. Schwantz, who last year finished third at Suzuka riding for Team Kagayama, is part of the Yoshimura Suzuki Shell Advance Legend Racing Team and will ride alongside his 1986 Suzuka 8-Hour partner Satoshi Tsujimoto and Suzuki Moto GP test rider Nobuatsu Aoki. Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment. Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
