For 2007, the Boulevard M109R receives a new cylinder head cover, secondary cover and the drive unit cover featured chromed metal construction for a high-quality finish. This is a very powerful and fun bike. The bike rides, handles, and looks more like a hyper-performance sport bike. Don___t get me wrong, I loved riding this bike (fantastic brakes). This is a motorcycle for guys who want hype bike performance in a cruiser riding style. The M 109 R is for the new exploding market of high performance bikes built in a cruiser riding style. It will crush the Victory Hammer because it is a better bike at a much lower price. This bike will in no way compete with the air cooled Harley bikes or the S&S power customs because they are 2 very different types of rides and 2 different markets. This bike is a winner! I am so pleased to see someone finally produce a true performance bike I can ride without leg cramps! This baby runs and it will stop on a dime. There is no air cooled v-twin that will stay with this machine. I had no problem keeping up with (and passing) my hyper bike buddies. Mon, 28 Feb 2011As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
MotoGP Teams Complete First Sepang Pre-Season Test
Thu, 06 Feb 2014Preparations for the 2014 MotoGP Championship are well underway, with the first pre-season test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit complete. As the first test of the year, we shouldn’t take too much stock into the results, but they do provide a basis for later comparison. Reigning World Champion Marc Marquez was the fastest rider on all three days of the Sepang test.
Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Explained in NHTSA Documents
Wed, 24 Jul 2013Earlier this month, we published news about an issue with certain Nissin anti-lock brake system modulators that have been connected to recalls in Canada and Japan from Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki, with the possibility of it expanding to further models and manufacturers using the same component. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has now released documents from American Honda’s recall of ABS-equipped CTX700 and CTX700N that shed some more light into the issue. According to the documentation, a manufacturing error may have resulted in Nissin ABS modulators being contaminated with aluminum chips.
