Suzuki Boulevard description

Up for sale is my 2002 Suzuki Savage. 10k original miles, runs and rides well. Bike has new front tire, new muffler, cleaned and re-jetted carb, new spark plug, new grips, fresh air and oil filters, fresh oil change, current tags and inspection, and a clean Texas Title in my name. Pictured without front fender, but I do have it and it will go with the bike. "as will new front brake pads" Bike is not perfect, there are a couple of shallow dents on the left side of the tank, and one side cover is yellow where the rest of the bike is silver. There is some pitting on the tops of the forks, and some discoloration on the handlebar controls. The right side passengers peg is also bent. I will send a replacement peg with the bike "as soon as I can find the darn thing"

Bike is ready to go now and needs nothing to be used as a commuter/bar hopper.

I know that 5-6 years ago these bikes were selling for under a grand, but those days are gone with Blue Collar Bobbers, and RYCA making conversion kits for them. If you want to turn the bike into something else, you should start with a good running bike, with a clean title. Such as this one.

I can deliver the bike for .50 a mile "one way" and can have it to you in a couple of days. You can also have a shipper get with me and pick it up at my residence. "at your expense" and I will assist in loading the bike. You can also come pick it up, or bring a friend and ride it home. "I included the VIN # in the listing so you can get it insured if you plan to ride it home and will want to see proof of insurance before I turn you loose on it.

I can text/email more pics and a video of the bike running if you are serious about buying it. Again, I have a clear title in my name and will also provide a filled out Texas DOT form 130U to make getting a title in your name quick and painless.

I have been on Ebay since 1999 and have NEVER had a negative feedback as either buyer or seller. If you don't have much feedback I would like to talk to you in person before you bid/buy it now.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show

Mon, 28 Sep 2009

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
