Suzuki Bandit description
I have for sale a very rare, unmolested, 1991 Suzuki GSF400 Bandit.
It's rare for many reasons.
1st reason is it comes with the unobtanium factory bikini fairing and tail piece. 2nd reason is that is is blue. Most GSF400 bikes came in red. The bike is almost factory-stock, except for the stainless steel brake cables, smoked turn signal lenses, gold chain, and a louder horn. The stock turn signals and horn are included in the sale. The performance of this 400 rocket is amazing and the handling is superb. I'm a former 250gp racer and I enjoy good handling bikes. This one is very satisfying! The foot pegs are high and the bike is designed for smaller people. It only weighs 365 lbs. (has Lithium battery) and puts out 59 horsepower. 4 cylinders, double overhead cams, water cooled, and 6 speeds. Has fresh fluids and oil. Runs like a sewing machine on steroids! Top speed is around 116 mph. The bike comes with the stock passenger seat, Owner's Manual, Service Manual and original Tool Kit. It has a clear title and is registered until November 2016. Tires and brakes are in good condition and the bike starts right up without hesitation. It has a small ding on the forward part of the gas tank (see photo) and a few smudges that have been repainted. I'm an old codger (former MSF Chief Instructor) and this bike has been pampered and never dropped. Sold as is, with no warranties expressed, or implied. Buyer is required to pay a down payment with PayPal of $500.00 and the balance can be a Certified Cashier's Check (the bike will not be released until it has completely cleared, which could take up to more than 10 days after its deposit). Buyer is responsible for acquiring shipping and all its expenses. I reserve the right to end the auction early due to the bike being for sale locally, if no bids. Please email me if you have any questions and include a phone number. ~ BID WITH CONFIDENCE AND THANKS FOR LOOKING ~ |

University Of Calgary Team Zeus To Compete In eMotoRacing Event At Miller Motorsports Park
Fri, 08 Aug 2014eMotoRacing will hold it’s eighth race of the 2014 season at Miller Motorsports Park, in Tooele, Utah. Though there has been a great stirring of rumors as to who will be in attendance, one thing is certain — there will be a good mix of contestants, including the official Brammo racing team, and Team “ZEUS” of the University of Calgary. “ZEUS” stands for “Zero Emission Ucalgary Superbike,” and the team is comprised of engineers, business and physics majors. The team will be racing their Generation I bike, which uses an Agni 95-R motor mounted to the frame of a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R 600, which was straight from the factory, and then stripped of its gasoline engine components.
R&G announce cheaper engine case cover kits
Tue, 06 Sep 2011R&G Racing has reacted to the rising cost of official motorcycle parts from manufacturers by creating money saving packages on its Engine Case Covers. As a reaction to the parts price rise, the crash protection leader has created a kit package on its Engine Case Covers (ECC) – offering an overall saving of more than 10% when compared to buying the items individually. The ECCs are designed to protect the engine cases and the inner workings of the motor in the event of a drop by acting as a sturdy ‘second skin’.By simply bolting over the original items, fitting the durable Engine Case Covers doesn’t require draining any engine fluids or replacing gaskets. Extensively developed in the ACU R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy, as well as being tested and approved by the California Superbike School in the UK and USA, the covers can allow a bike to be ridden after a crash or prevent terminal engine damage from oil leaks or casing punctures.Protection benefits aside, financial savings for riders are evident by looking at official parts prices; to replace only the clutch cover on a Suzuki GSX-R1000K7 would cost £206 including a new gasket, but all three R&G Engine Case Covers for this bike cost only £143.
