Norton COMMANDO 850 INTERSTATE description

1974 Norton Commando 850 Interstate models are the last of the 'pure' Nortons with the right-side shift lever and left-side brake pedal before a federal mandate forced a reversal of those positions in '75. An Interstate model with the rare 6.6-gallon gas tank, good for 200-plus miles between fill-ups. The bike is so complete in specification that the fenders still wear their rubber mud flaps, and the speedometer glass still has a decal with instruction for engine break-in. As been through a full inspection and detailed ready for the road. If any other questions please contact me at (786)-661-3434 -Vlad

Production of 650cc Norton models will start at the end of next year

Tue, 17 Nov 2020

In addition to the release of V4 and Commando models, the British plan to expand their lineup. The Norton V4 and Commando motorcycles, presented to the public in 2018, will not start rolling off the assembly line until the end of 2021. This is primarily due to the fact that Norton, owned by the Indian company TVS, is currently busy transferring production from Donnington Hall to Solihull.
