I am selling a 1985 Moto Guzzi Le Mans 1000. This classic Italian sport bike has had over $7K put into the motor recently. This bike was sitting in a heated garage for 15 years before having the motor work done. I have attached all the invoices from the recent repairs. This bike is powered by a V2, four stroke engine. It is air cooled and has a 5 speed tranny, as well as front and rear disc brakes. It is all original and absolutely ready to ride. Piaggio Reports Q2 2012 Results
Fri, 27 Jul 2012The Piaggio Group reported a 4.8% drop in motorcycle and scooter sales over the first half of 2012 thanks to the continuing struggles of the European economy. The Piaggio Group includes the brands Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa. According to the company’s second quarter report, the Piaggio Group sold 216,700 motorcycles and scooters in the first half of 2012, compared to 227,700 units in 2011.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
