Moto Guzzi Ambassador description

1971 Moto Guzzi Ambassador 750, An Ambassador Like Few Youve Seen! - When we were contacted by the owner of this restored motorcycle about selling it on a consignment we were thrilled to say yes. Weve partnered with him on several prior occasions in handling the sale of his always pristine and collectable motorcycles. Going all the way back to the nineties we sold his R90S that went all the way to Japan and weve sold several more for him since then. His bikes are always maintained and detailed in a meticulous fashion and this Moto Guzzi is just one more of his best. The bike seen in person is stunning but we have taken and will be posting lots of photos for those in distant places. This bike needs nothing but a new home. It has been professionally serviced at both the Cycle Garden in Huntington Beach, CA and Moto Guzzi Classics in Signal Hills, CA. Both are renowned as top notch Moto Guzzi experts and it shows. If you want a classic you can just get out there and ride or a real beauty to add to your collection you just found it.

Piaggio Announces 2011-2014 Business Plan – More Hybrids and Electric Models In the Pipeline

Wed, 14 Dec 2011

The Piaggio Group revealed its business plans for the next three years with a focus on developing fuel efficient engines and introducing new electric motors and hybrid powertrains. Beginning in 2012, Piaggio plans to introduce a new generation of engines with lower emissions and improved fuel economy. Examples include the new 350cc engine introduced in the Piaggio Beverly SportTouring and the fuel-injected 125cc four-stroke, three-valve engine equipped in the Vespa Quarantasei concept (which the company has apparently, and quietly, renamed as the much easier-to-pronounce Vespa 946).

1954 AJS E95 May Fetch Upwards of $750K in August Pebble Beach Auction

Wed, 18 May 2011

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.

2013 Moto Guzzi California 1400 Revealed in Touring Guise

Fri, 09 Nov 2012

Photographs of the final production touring version of the Moto Guzzi California 1400 have emerged, just days before the bagger’s impending debut at the 2012 EICMA show. The 2013 Moto Guzzi California 1400 will come equipped with ride-by-wire throttle, switchable maps, ABS, traction control and cruise control, making it perhaps the most technologically-advanced Moto Guzzi ever developed. Powering the California 1400 is an air/oil-cooled 1380cc V-Twin engine mounted longitudinally in Moto Guzzi fashion.
