MV Agusta Ovunque description

This is one rare scooter. You may have never seen one. I bought it this year from the Gary Kohs Collection in Vegas for my wife. She has never ridden it and says to sell it. Completely restored, only damage is a dent on the edge of the running board. A true collectable. Wall plaque is included with clean Texas title. Good luck.

More info:  By 1951, the battle for the Italian scooter market was at a fevered pitch. MV was determined to field a credible scooter; the result was the “Ovunque” (“Everywhere”). The main characteristic of the “Ovunque” is the single beam frame, constructed of large diameter tubing. While the engine used the same block and head similar as four-speed models, the “Ovunque” used a three-speed transmission with a twist-grip gear selector on the handlebars. The rear suspension was rather tidy; it was a swingarm design that used the engine as an integral part, as well as a single hydraulic shock absorber. Two versions were built; the O51, which used a single exhaust, and the O52, that utilized a double exhaust system.

Results From Day 2 Of World Supersport Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

If there’s one constant when it comes to World Supersport racing, it’s that Kenan Sofuoglu will be at or near the front at all times. The former champ has a special ability when it comes to lapping middleweight sportbikes as quickly as possible, and it showed again at the conclusion of World Supersport testing at Phillip Island. Sofuoglu’s best time of 1:33.506 was set during the first day of testing, but still nobody was able to beat it.

MV Agusta to Introduce All-New Model at EICMA 2012

Thu, 31 May 2012

MV Agusta is developing a new model to be revealed at the 2012 EICMA show in November. While it isn’t that surprising an Italian manufacturer will have something to show off in Milan, the big news is the new model will not be a sportbike or a naked but a new motorcycle segment for MV Agusta. Rumors of a new MV Agusta have been circulating for a while, gathering momentum when the company recently trademarked the name “Rivale”.

First Official Sketch of the MV Agusta Rivale

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

What you see here is the first official sketch released by MV Agusta of the new Rivale, which is expected to be unveiled during EICMA 2012 and available to the public around Fall 2013. Powering the new Rivale is an 800cc version of the 675cc triple currently seen in the F3 and Brutale 675 models. A larger bore (81mm vs. 79mm) accounts for the bump in displacement.
