The MV Agusta F4 RR advanced engineering solutions for maximum performance with the 998cc four cylinder four stroke engine. It has chassis control utilizing vehicle inertia sensors, a unique engine control with Ride-By-Wire system, and Ohlins electronic control suspension and steering damper with titanium connecting rods. The oil circuit has been redesigned, insdie and outside main bearings and connecting rod lubrication for better reliability. The temperature to operate engine has been lowered due to the superior radiator capabilities and new oil lines.

I was interested to see none other than William Dunlop doing some shakedown testing on a very nice MV 675 F3 at Donington recently. The bike appeared failry standard but sounded sweet and looked pretty rapid out on track. Ohlins technician Richard Brendish was gathering information and helping with set up but reckons no definite decision has been made on where we might see MVs racing next year.
Back to sensible riding and after dropping in for a brew at Shires Motorcycle Training (Derby) the lovely Emily was telling me if your thinking about taking your bike test (especially if you’re 17) it’s not a bad idea to get it done now.

Just as it did with its four-cylinder Brutale 1090 lineup, MV Agusta announced it is adding an ABS version of its F4 models to its 2013 offerings. Available for an extra 1000 euros (US$1,311), the Bosch ABS will be available for the baseline MV Agusta F4, the more upscale F4 R and the top-of-the-line F4 RR. That’ s quite a premium, but with base prices starting at 16,990 euros for the F4 R, 19,920 euros for the F4 R and 24,290 euros for the F4 RR, MV Agusta customers might not mind paying a bit more for ABS.

NO, IT'S NOT but we thought you'd like a shufti at this: a 1968 MV 600 4. Looking more BMW than MV Agusta, the forty-two-year-old 600 features a gorgeous sandcast DOHC inline four engine, shaft drive, cable-operated front disc brakes and some rather bizarre styling. Weird, eh?
