This is a 73 S2 that is bone stock original. Factory matching #'s motorcycle. S2T-12535, S2E-41551. It runs nice and is very fast for a little 350. It has a lot of power. It was stripped down and frame epoxy painted, all parts cleaned. The electrical works. Brakes are in good working order, all cables were lubed and adjusted, rims are very clean and re-laced , new tires & tubes, crank seals tested and no leakage, good compression, carbs serviced and synced. Nice seat pan and foam with a new cover. New chain and sprockets. Original paint with patina. This is not a show bike but a very nice rider. Great bike to rip around town. ABS Option Coming for 2014 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Classic, Nomad and Vaquero

The European Parliament making ABS mandatory by 2016 has helped push things along, as manufacturers work to equip their models with the technology ahead of the deadline, not just for the European market but also for other markets including the U.S. New documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal Kawasaki will offer an ABS version for its 2014 Vulcan 1700 cruisers and tourers for American consumers.

Kawasaki Reports Q2 2012-2013 Results
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Kawasaki reported an operating loss of 2.2 billion yen (US$27.1 million) from its motorcycle and engine business for its second quarter ended Sept. 30, 2012. Despite the loss, the quarter still represented an improvement from the same quarter last year which saw a loss of 2.3 billion yen.
