Here is a very nice original bike,all stock except the Kerker chrome 4 into 1 pipe. This bike has alway been licensed and ridden every year to keep it exercised and in good shape. It has 11794 actual miles on it. It runs,shifts and stops well just like it should and everything works. It has a couple blemishes on the paint as shown in the pictures but is in excellent shape for a 40 year old bike. I require a $500.00 deposit within 48 hours of winning bid and either a certified check or cash at time bike is picked up. I will not ship bike so it must be picked up. AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days A Rousing Success
Mon, 29 Jul 2013AMA members and motorcyclists from across the country celebrated the people, machines and sport of motorcycling at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring the riders and champions of Husqvarna, over the July 19-21 weekend. The annual gathering of tens of thousands of motorcycling enthusiasts participated in vintage racing, took in numerous bike shows, met their motorcycling heroes, purchased vintage parts and motorcycles in the massive swap meet, spent time with old friends, and met new ones, all at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The AMA and the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, extend their appreciation to AMA members, racers, enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, fans, clubs, companies and others who supported the three-day celebration of motorcycling’s history and heroes.
Isle of Man TT 2014: RL360 Superstock TT Results
Tue, 03 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop won his second race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT and ninth in his career, taking the RL360 Superstock TT on a BMW S1000RR. Dunlop also won the Superbike TT earlier, giving BMW its first two wins on the Isle of Man since 1939. Meanwhile, Supersport TT 1 winner Gary Johnson was injured in a crash on the opening lap while running second behind Dunlop.
WSBK 2013: Donington Park Race Report
Mon, 27 May 2013Tom Sykes had an outstanding weekend in front of his home fans, scoring a pair of wins at the World Superbike Championship round at the United Kingdom’s Donington Park. The Kawasaki racer led every session from first qualifying onwards, before leading all 23 laps in both races for the double. The double victory brings Sykes to within 4 points of series leader Sylvain Guintoli who had a decent weekend himself with a pair of podium finishes.
